Nintendo and Sony are changing their subscription renewal policies.
As a result of the investigation, both companies will change the subscription renewal system. Nintendo and Sony, two of the world's largest game companies, will update their subscription renewal systems as a result of the investigation conducted by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA). Both companies will revise their current policies due to the non-competitive renewal system and the unwitting subscription fee of the users. Nintendo and Sony were also quick to take action in the past months, after Microsoft pledged to provide users with clearer information about the Xbox Game Pass service on how to cancel subscriptions and withhold payment.
