According to the statement, a delegation led by Global Esports Federation CEO Paul J. Foster recently visited Istanbul and met with the local organizers of the event, the Turkish Esports Federation (TESFED) and the Spor Istanbul committee.

The program, which was stated to be hosted by Yasemin Üner, Chairman of the organizing committee, consisted of a series of venue visits for the community, such as the competition area, hospitality venues and accommodation options.
