Reactions to Russia from the gaming world are increasing.

The effects of the Russia-Ukraine war, which has been on the agenda of the whole world for the last week, are increasing. Reactions from esports teams and gaming companies are incessant. After the donation campaign initiated by the NAVI team, many game companies stated that they sided with Ukraine, while giant companies such as Unity, Electronic Arts, Steam and ESL reveal their reactions to Russia with their decisions.

Finally, after ESL and BLAST banned Virtus Pro and Gambit teams from tournaments, Electronic Arts announced that the Russian national team and Russian teams will be removed from FIFA 22. In the announcement made on its official Twitter account, Electronic Arts stated that Russian teams will not be featured in FIFA 22, FIFA Mobile and FIFA Online. Teams such as CSKA Moscow, Spartak Moscow, Rubin Kazan, Zenit and Krasnodar will be removed from the game in the coming days.

The statement made by Electronic Arts is as follows:

"Electronic Arts stands in solidarity with the Ukrainian people and like many other voices in the football world, we call for peace and hope the occupation of Ukraine ends. In line with our partners at FIFA and UEFA, we have initiated the process of removing the Russian national team and all Russian teams from FIFA 22, FIFA Mobile and FIFA Online. We are also actively evaluating relevant changes in other areas of our games.

We will keep our community updated as action is taken and we thank our players for their patience as we deal with these updates."
