The popular role-playing game has crossed an important threshold.

Developed by Atlus, the popular role-playing game Shin Megami Tensei V, exclusive to the Nintendo platform, managed to reach 1 million copies worldwide. Players continue to show great interest in Shin Megami Tensei V, which was released in November of last year. The game, which was announced to have sold 800 thousand copies at the beginning of 2022, exceeded an important milestone in a short time.

Kazuyuki Yamai heads the production team of Tensei V, which is at the center of the Shin Megami series. To celebrate surpassing 1 million copies sold, the game's character designer, Masayuki Doi, posted a new illustration on Atlus' official Twitter account. Shin Megami Tensei V, the new production of Atlus company, which we know with its Persona series, may have the same popularity as its congener in the coming months.

“Shin Megami Tensei V has sold 1 million units worldwide! Character Designer Masayuki Doi has created a special illustration to celebrate! Thank you very much for your support."

Shin Megami Tensei V was released as a role-playing game set in a post-apocalyptic world and blending the mechanics of the previous two games in the series. Shin Megami Tensei V, which takes place between modern Tokyo and the supernatural world of the dead called the netherworld, was nominated for the best role-playing game of the year along with Tales of Arise and Cyberpunk 2077.
