New details have been shared about Sons of the Forest, which will be a kind of continuation of The Forest, one of the beloved productions of the survival genre. The Forest, which was released completely out of early access in 2018, managed to impress the players with both its horror-filled survival experience and the story it presented. Endnight Games, the developer of the series, announced that Sons of the Forest's Steam page has been activated with a post on its official Twitter account. The highly anticipated production will meet with the actors in October 2022.

It was announced that Sons of the Forest, which was originally planned to be released in May 2022, was postponed to October last month. The reason behind Endnight Games' decision to postpone was that the developer team believed that it would be ambitious to release the game in May.

In the Sons of the Forest story, players will take on the role of a savior who is sent to another island in search of a missing billionaire. Hunting and crafting for survival will form the basis of the game. As players enjoy the massive open world, advanced mutants will emerge from the caves and wreak havoc. A wide selection of weapons will be available to fight against mutants, who are more advanced in terms of artificial intelligence compared to the first game.

Perhaps the most enjoyable aspect of The Forest, the multiplayer option will also be in Sons of the Forest. Players will be able to be more effective against mutants as they travel the world with their friends. This way, by exploring more caves, players will be able to test the limits of Sons of the Forest. Food will be easier to find during the summer and spring months, and players will need to stockpile the resources they find during the winter months. This new feature will add a new twist to the gameplay of Sons of the Forest.
