As every year, Counter-Strike-focused content and statistics platform HLTV shared the list of the top 20 CS:GO players of the past year with its followers. The final name in the list of the top 20 CS:GO players of 2021, which started on Monday, January 3, 2022, was announced on Saturday, January 22.

Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, the player of Natus Vincere, was determined as the best player of 2021 in the list, which was prepared by considering the statistics, awards and many more details of the players during the year.
