Wild Rift brings back the voice chat feature to test!

Wild Rift has started working on the voice chat feature again!

Wild Rift, one of the most popular mobile games around the world recently, brings back the voice chat feature. The feature, which was removed during the testing phase right after a few strange problems experienced during the development phase, takes its place on the test servers again.

What happened to the Wild Rift voice chat feature?

On the subject of Riot, “In Patch 2.4 we migrated to a new addon that works in-game voice chat. After the patch was released in July, we encountered many performance issues such as microphone turning on when it shouldn't have been turned on, numerous quality issues, unexpected audio bugs, low audio output, and inability to adjust input volume. So we had to disable voice chat as early as possible. Later, while preparing to re-enable voice chat in Patch 2.6, we stumbled upon another bug affecting players who had updated their devices to the latest Android 12 version. When you were in the lobby, it looked like your microphone was on even though you had muted yourself. We've considered releasing the patch with this visual bug, but we wanted to make sure others don't hear you unless you want to get your voice heard. Although this is just a visual bug, we did not enable voice chat until we identified the cause of the issue and fixed it.” used the phrases.
