The new Call of Duty Warzone game is in development with Modern Warfare 2!


The announcement appeared as part of Activision Blizzard's Q1 2022 financial reports. It is claimed that the new Warzone will be built from the ground up alongside the next Call of Duty game, a new Modern Warfare.

Activision told investors when exactly we will see the new Warzone launch and how it will differ from the current game. He made a very cautious statement about it. Likewise, no statement was made on whether the new Warzone will include any content or purchase items from the existing Warzone.

Activision also noted how Call of Duty sales fell year-over-year in 2022. Last month, Activision made an official announcement that it would bring Warzone to mobile devices. Activision has seen what it calls a sequel about the new Modern Warfare game, but describes it as a "new experience" about the next Call of Duty Warzone game. It is not yet clear about the new Warzone whether it will be a completely new game or a major update for the existing Warzone game.
