Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has been officially announced!

 Infinity Ward announces its next Call of Duty game.


Infinity Ward has officially announced the next installment of the popular action-shooter series Call of Duty. The game, which was announced to be released under the name of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, will be the sequel to Modern Warfare released in 2019. The Call of Duty game of 2022 is expected to be released for console and PC in the autumn months. Infinity Ward did not share any information about the characters, gameplay mechanics, story and release date that will appear in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.

Announcing the logo of Call of Duty Moder Warfare 2 on its official Twitter account, Infinity Ward gave some leaks that would excite the players. Users who analyzed the images discovered the Task Force 141 logo in the trailer and made some claims. The Task Force 141 group, consisting of the characters Shepherd, Soap, Ghost, Roach and Price, which formed the basis of the story in the Modern Warfare 2 game released in 2009, is expected to be in the next Call of Duty game.

After Microsoft's acquisition of Activision, the future of the Call of Duty series was the subject of discussion. Players who were not clear about whether the new Call of Duty game would come every year were in doubt. It seems that Activision and Infinity Ward want to shift the focus of the series to Modern Warfare. It is not yet known when Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will be released.
