In his statement at the press conference, Bölükbaşı shared his feelings and thoughts as follows:

“This is an incredible development for me. While training for thousands of hours in virtual races and winning world championships in Formula 1 E-sports races, I always dreamed that one day I would show my skills on real racetracks. I think I have proven this with the successes I have achieved in various championships in the last two years. My last Euroformula Open championship was very successful. I got on the podium 8 times in 15 races and finished first in 2 races.”

The 23-year-old athlete, who also talked about his training on simulation and Formula 2, continued his statement as follows:

“ The training I did in the simulation made a great contribution to my racing career. I managed to get on the podium in the vehicles I used for the first time. Now, I will race in the full season FIA Formula 2 Championship with the Formula 2 car that I went on official test drives for the first time just a few weeks ago.
