Although the Easter Egg, which a player noticed, resembles the familiar wall crossing from the Harry Potter series, it also seems like a reference that the makers of Cyberpunk 2077 ridiculed the mistakes of their games.

CD Projekt Red released Cyberpunk 2077 after delaying it several times and creating great anticipation. In the images shared on Reddit, it is possible to see NPCs disappearing inside a wall in Wellsprings in the game. When the game first came out, NPCs were repeatedly hitting the wall after crossing the street. After several fixes and updates to the game, it was noticed that "Platform 69" and "Slam Here" were written on the wall and NPCs now pass through the wall.

CD Projekt Red, which didn't fix the NPCs pointing at the wall, turned the error into a reference to Platform 9 ¾, which was used to reach Hogwarts station in the Harry Potter movie.
