With a Harry Potter reference in Cyberpunk 2077, the makers are making fun of their own game!

CD Projekt Red follows different paths when fixing bugs in the game. Therefore, there is a Harry Potter reference in Cyberpunk 2077.

CD Projekt Red does not neglect to add small details to the game as well as fixing the errors of Cyberpunk 2077 with the updates it brings. Therefore, there is a Harry Potter reference in Cyberpunk 2077. Although the Easter Egg, which a player noticed, resembles the familiar wall crossing from the Harry Potter series, it also seems like a reference that the makers of Cyberpunk 2077 ridiculed the mistakes of their games.

Harry Potter reference in Cyberpunk 2077 inspired by a mistake

CD Projekt Red released Cyberpunk 2077 after delaying it several times and creating great anticipation. Unfortunately, the game disappointed its players due to serious problems in performance, design and gameplay, and it was sued with its shareholders due to the loss of value. Although most of the bugs in the game have been fixed, it will not be forgotten. If it will be forgotten, the game now includes an Easter Egg to remind those mistakes.

In the images shared on Reddit, it is possible to see NPCs disappearing inside a wall in Wellsprings in the game. When the game first came out, NPCs were repeatedly hitting the wall after crossing the street. After several fixes and updates to the game, it was noticed that "Platform 69" and "Slam Here" were written on the wall and NPCs now pass through the wall.

CD Projekt Red, which didn't fix the NPCs pointing at the wall, turned the error into a reference to Platform 9 ¾, which was used to reach Hogwarts station in the Harry Potter movie.

You can reach the video, which can also be the Easter Egg we talked about, by clicking here.
